to singles is to provide a safe environment where single adults can come
and fellowship with other believers in Jesus Christ as well as facilitate
spiritual growth, build strong friendships, and develop the natural
abilities of each individual for service in the body.

| The U.S. Census continues to report that singles are the
fastest growing type of family. This "non-traditional family,"
as they are often referred to, includes the never-married, divorced,
separated, widowed, single parents as well as cohabiting couples. So how
can we possibly ignore a significant part of our community? We can't. They
are already the least likely to be in church but are also the most likely
to be in search of meaning and purpose in life ("State of the Singles
Report 1999," SAM Journal). |
